Argo offers legal services across various areas, including corporate, tax, fund structuring, dispute resolution, banking, finance & insolvency, and private clients, with a commitment to excellence, team spirit, and a sense of humor.
Our dynamic tax team, which currently comprises 11 lawyers, is growing. We handle a diverse portfolio of client work in three primary areas: (i) providing tailored tax advice to corporate clients and funds on various direct and indirect taxation matters, including R&D tax incentives; (ii) offering tax advice on M&A, fund structuring, finance, capital markets transactions, and private client matters; and (iii) supporting and representing clients during tax audits and court proceedings, including appearances before the Constitutional Court.
As a tax lawyer in our esteemed tax team, you will have the opportunity to:

To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
A Belgian Master Degree in Law with an outstanding academic track record.
An additional Master Degree in Tax Law or an academic curriculum with equivalent Master-level courses.
Relevant experience in the field of tax law, commensurate with the position level (junior, mid-level associate).
Capable of in-depth analyses and autonomous work.
A down-to-earth mindset, team player qualities, and excellent communication skills.
Ambition and passion for tax law, with a strong desire to grow as a tax lawyer in a professional business law firm environment.
Fluency in English and Dutch, with proficient understanding and verbal skills in French being an advantage.
The ability to work independently and an innovative approach to solving complex legal questions.
